Traditional construction vs. ConstructShield TIMBR Series
David Olsen, a retired Boeing Engineer. Set out to build the best enevelope possible, using exclusively USA made components. After exhaustive research he chose Canadian manufactured MgO Panels for the Insulated Cladding.
Olsen’s Lodge faced two major concerns: it was crucial to work on interior Mechanical and Electrical during the Winter months, and the local trades were inconveniently, “not available.” The roof panels were speci ed as Timber Cladding with absolutely no thermal bridging and the same requirements for the wall panels. The wall panels also needed vertical load capacity to handle the weight of the concrete log siding.
ConstructShield provided the exact specifications with decreased erection time and decreased construction insurance cost. Through superior panelized systems, ConstructShield also brought value to the heat barrier and heating cost savings.
